Visual Studio Installation on server - A setup package is missing or damaged

Recently i am upgrading my Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2015 Update 2 and Release Manager 2015 Update 2 on my Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. I hit the error while during the installation "A setup package is missing or damaged". I tried few solution from the net but no luck.

At the end, it solved by doing windows update about .net framework. So if you are facing the same issue, i would suggest:

1. Do all necessary windows updates.
2. Install latest .net framework.
3. Restart your server.

According to the MSDN page, one of the windows update package is required for windows server 2012.

Iphone 5 Digi no data connection

I just have an incident for my new bought iphone 5. I am using Digi, after i put in my sim card, i found that there is no data connection. I can not go online. Even i turn off and on for the cellular.

So i decided to bring my iphone back to Digi center. What they did is just reset the network settings, reboot and it's fixed.

Error: Sys.InvalidOperationException: Handler was not added through the Sys.UI.DomEvent.addHandler method.

I hit this error after i upgraded my ajaxtoolkits in my ASP.NET project.

Finally i found the quick solution from this site by taking off the Enabled="false" for tabpanel

How do you search in WIndows 8 store?

Just realise that you can do searching in windows 8 store by :

1. "windows key" + Q
2. Slide from right to left on your touchpad.
3. Move you mouse pointer to to right and click on the magnifier.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 QVOD missing in market / play shop

Hi,

I experience this after i factory reset my device. I  couldn't find QVOD in the market which compatible with my device. So after i google around, i finally think of a way which is, use the tab browser and download the apk file from the web. Then i install the apk file and it works.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 Can Not Connect to Kies via USB

I have a very frustrated experience with Samsung Kies. I could not connect my samsung galaxy tab 8.9 to Kies, it will only stay at connecting.

I have double confirmed this:

1. Device is not rooted
2. USB debuging OFF
3. Reinstall driver
4. Turn wifi off, take out Memory card ( even i don't have) and ... bla bla bla

Finally, this solve my "connecting" problem by just disable the pattern unlock function.

Then, i got another ERROR, which is "cannot start service on the device. please disconnect then reconnect the device". It make me mad, and the only solution worked is, FACTORY RESET my tablet.

I really wish Samsung can invest more on their software (Kies and firmware update).

samsung galaxy tab 8.9 - digi data plan no internet connection

i have taken the digi 6gb data for my new samsung galaxy 8.9 . i have waited a day but i still access to the internet. at the end, i called digi and the gave me this solution - manual apn setting.

first, delete all your default apn in Settings > Wireless and networks > Mobile networks > Access Point Name

Delete all existing APNs and create a new one with by putting in the name "Digi Broadband" (can be any name, so i put "board"band..) and APN "3gdgnet". APN have to be exactly the same ( char in same case).

At the end, make sure the "Use data packet" is ticked and your APN is selected the green dot .

Done.
