Gold Coast, Australia - Day 2, Surfers paradise

On the second day, we have been to surfer paradise, Gold Coast. Surfer paradise is the middle area along the Gold Coast beach. There are many restaurant, shops, and has activities booth available here. You can do shopping, eating and enjoying the beach activities. Of cause, surfing is the most famous beach activity.

This is one of the most famous coffee cafe in surfer paradise, "Black Coffee Lyrics", located in Center Acade.

They serve pretty nice coffee.

And food. Price is reasonable.

After the breakfast, we are going to Sea World and Whale watching cruise!!

Here we go for our Whale watching trip.

There is a 3D TV, showing the map of current location.

During this time, whales and dolphins are going back after their migration. They migrate to around New Zealand and Australia for giving birth because it's too cold in Antartic. Normally people only can see the Humpback whale with very quick reaction. When they swinging their tale, it means whales are going back into sea. But we are extremely duper lucky that we met two playful whales are trying to "show off" here. I have recorded this and snaps few pictures. This is my best favorite. We even see the whole whale flying up and falling down to the sea but i can't snap it on time.

Happily going back.

But our luck is not only that because we saw a group of DOLPHINS migrating as well.

Time for Sea World, one of the most famous worlds in Australia.

Our lunch in Sea World, fish and chips.

You will have very pack schedule in Sea World, like water jet ski, seal, dolphin performance, and penguin feeding.

You can also touch the ray and starfish.

You can see lazy polar as well.

There is a racing competition in the week we visited. It's quite famous for those local people.

Meal is important for a trip. This is what we got for our dinner, Hakataya Ramen located in Center Acade. Personally think, Goku Raku ramen located in Mid Valley Malaysia still better. It's about the same things they serve, but the only special in Hakataya Ramen is, you can refill the noodle until you full.

After dinner, it's time for dessert, ice cream this time. We missed Korea Cold Stone a lot and we found a similar one in Australia, "Cold rock", but the taste is losing far away compare to Cold Stone.

If person like us staying there for 1 week, mineral water is important. This is the cheapest i can find in Australia from Woolworths. 6X 1,5L only cost 4.15AUD. And i realised that there is always a price per unit for consumer to compare.

Of cause, another advanced thing we saw is this payment machine. You can pay things yourself. I'm not sure if this works in Malaysia because some might just leave their things without paid.

This is the beachfront market. It's open every Wed and Fri from 5-10pm. There are selling special goods like hand-made product, local culture things and etc. It's like Melacca market.
